Es que yo no se configurar postfix, así que el mainc.cf es el archivo de ejemplo renombrado... muy triste, lo se, pero estaba cabreado y lo borré. Luego puse el del ejemplo y lo renombré. Lo que no recuerdo es si desde que hice eso había reiniciado antes o no. Puede que sea eso, que borré el archivo de configuración, puse el de ejemplo y al reiniciar empezó a funcionar, aunque no estoy seguro. Puede que ya hubiera reinicado antes.

Gracias por la ayuda. Estaré atento a ver que ocurre en los próximos días. Si vuelve a ir mal pondré todos los ficheros de configuración.

Uhmm, lo que has enviado tiene pinta de ser la configuración por defecto del postfix pero no las modificaciones hechas posteriormente en el "main.cf":

El comando "postconf -n" sólo devuelve las modificaciones que se hayan realizado sobre la configuración por defecto, que suelen ser unas pocas líneas.Tampoco has incluido el "master.cf".

Sin más datos, y puestos a aventurar, tiene pinta de que se había caído algún sistema antispam que tienes instalado. El postfix funcionaba, pero al intentar entregar el correo al "transport" definido para ese sistema añadido daba error. Pero son solo conjeturas...

OMG menos mal que parece que ya funciona bien. No me he dado cuenta y una incidencia que tenía abierta con Dell la respondí desde un email asociado a mi dominio y no desde gmail (donde la empecé). Si no llega a funcionar el servidor de e-mail, no lo habría visto y seguiría esperando una respuesta...

No entiendo porque ahora si va y antes no.

Esto no tiene sentido para mi...

Para empezar, uso CentOs 5 con webmin+virtualmin.

La salida de postconf -n creo que ya la tienes (uso putty y se corta porque es muy larga, pero me suena que ya está ahi arriba).

La cuestión es que acabo de recibir un ataque o algo similar, ya que en 2 segundos se ha cuadruplicado la gente conectada a mi web y el servidor se ha colgado. Tras el reinicio he recibido correso que estaban en cola desde el dia 22 hasta el 24 de este mes.

Y no, no soy tonto, ya había reiniciado varias veces desde que ocurrió el problema con el servidor de correo.

Aún así, no han llegado todos los emails. No se si es porque hay 18000 mensajes en cola o que...

Y hay 18000 porque alguien usa mi servidor para mandar spam, y no se cómo frenarlo.

Este tipo de problemas son difíciles de solucionar sin poder verlos de "cerca".

Si vas a postear tu configuración en este foro, manda:

1.- Distribución que usas.
2.- Versión del postfix.
3.- La salida del comando "postconf -n".
4.- El contenido del archivo "/etc/postfix/master.cf".

De todas formas te recomiendo que te pases por la lista de correo: http://lists.wl0.org/mailman/listinfo/postfix-es , es más probable que encuentres una solución a tu problema en ella.

yo diria que lee los mensajes en cola directamente de la carpeta donde los alojan y no tiene nada que ver con que el postfix este arrancado o no ...

Tiene toda la pinta de que es un problema de Postfix.

Buenas, desde hace 1 semana o así actualice el servidor usando yum update... uso webmin y tras la actualización virtualmin me hizo cambiar algunas configuraciones debido a que no encontraba "mapas virtuales" en el servidor de correo postfix.

Desde entonces no me llega ningún email... pongo mailq y sale la lista de emails esperando a enviar y en todos pone mail transport unavailable.

El problema esta en la config de postfix, php o apache? cómo puedo solucionarlo?
